Delete Your Eklan Account
You can permanently delete your Eklan account and associated personal data directly within the app. This page explains how the process works and what happens to your data.
How to delete your account
- 1. Open the Eklan app.
- 2. Go to Settings.
- 3. Select Account.
- 4. Tap "Delete Account".
- 5. Confirm your request.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
What data is deleted
When you confirm deletion, the following data is permanently removed from our active systems:
- Account profile information (e.g., email, name)
- Speaking practice history
- Learning progress
- AI interaction/session history
- Personal identifiers linked to your account
What data may be retained
Some limited technical logs may be retained for up to 30 days for:
- •Fraud prevention
- •Security monitoring
- •Legal compliance
After this retention period, remaining logs are deleted or anonymized.
